Federal funding to make DisabilityCare Australia a reality within weeks

Novita Children’s Services welcomes the funding within the 2013-14 Federal Budget for DisabilityCare Australia. As the not-for-profit organisation caring for more than 2000 children living with disabilities in South Australia, Novita will play a significant role in the implementation of DisabilityCare Australia from 1 July.

Look out for the Novita fleet on a road near you!

You will start to notice Novita’s fleet of cars, used by our clinical staff to visit clients at their homes, child care centres, kindergartens and schools, looking a little bit brighter as they drive around the Adelaide metropolitan area and regional South Australia.

Rebecca

Rebecca, 18, lives with visual and communication limitations. But by working hard to overcome communication barriers, she communicates with co-workers at a community garden, has presented at a conference, and is planning to travel overseas to spread her message even further.
