National Families Week

Novita Children’s Services Chief Executive, Glenn Rappensberg, has become an Ambassador for National Families Week 2012 (15-21 May Australia’s main celebration of the importance of families. In National Families Week 2012, everyone is encouraged to think about the valuable role families play in helping children to develop, learn and grow, and reflect on the influence families have on a child’s wellbeing. “The aim of National Families Week 2012 is to celebrate the vital role that families play in helping children to grow and learn and to make a difference in their lives,” Mr Rappensberg said.

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is the largest celebration of volunteers and volunteerism in Australia, and provides an opportunity to highlight the role of volunteers in our communities and to say thank you to the more than 6.1 million Australians who volunteer Australian volunteers are essential to society.
