As a proud South Australian charity for over 77 years, continuing community support for Novita Children’s Services remains vital in helping us ensure that children and young people living with a disability can continue to receive every opportunity to develop their potential.
Whilst the National Disability Insurance Scheme commenced its three-year trial in South Australia from 1 July 2013, the demands upon Novita’s charitable activities to deliver services for children and families continue to increase.
The needs of children with a disability and their families are broader than that encompassed by any one scheme. Fundraising activities and volunteers help us to work with children and families, as well as develop important infrastructure or implement the latest innovations in clinical practice.
We believe the best outcomes for children living with disability are achieved when the community, the corporate sector, governments and charitable organisations work together in partnership.
You can help Novita make a difference in several ways. Some examples of how you can help include:
- making a donation
- attending a Novita event
- volunteering at Novita
- event sponsorship
- attending Novita Bingo
- payroll deductions or planned giving
- fundraising for Novita, including setting up an Everyday Hero page
- remembering Novita in your will
