Adelaide Strikers announce Novita as their official charity partner for BBL|06

The partnership will see the Strikers raise funds to help Novita’s kids and teens achieve their goals.

Among other initiatives, the Strikers will be helping to raise funds for specialised sporting equipment to help Novita kids participate in sports through inclusion programs like “ConnectABILITY”.

Novita kids will also be treated to clinics at Adelaide Oval, integration into Strikers’ programs, and a meet and greet with players at Carols by Candlelight at Elder Park.

“We are delighted to partner with Novita for the upcoming season – they are a trusted and local South Australian organisation who do terrific work within the children’s services sector,” Strikers General Manager Bronwyn Klei said.

“Their particular focus on the physical development of children through the ConnectABILITY program is fantastic, and it’s an initiative we see as a great fit for the Strikers to support.”

Novita’s CEO, Greg Ward, said the Strikers would provide a valuable platform to raise awareness of the abilities of Novita’s community and what they can achieve through access to supports and services.

“The Strikers have become an Adelaide institution, and everyone at Novita is extremely excited by the opportunities this partnership presents for us and our kids,” Ward said.

“We look forward to making the Novita kids a part of the Strikers’ family, and we have no doubt that Strikers’ members and fans – the best in the league – will welcome us with their support.”
