April School Holiday Therapy Groups

Join a therapy group these July Holidays!

These groups run between July 9 - July 27.

Novita groups are run by our qualified therapists and allow your child to continue their therapy whilst enjoying new experiences, with new friends in a fun and supportive environment. Groups are rewarding for you too! Come and meet other parents and carers, share your stories and hear ideas from people who are walking the same road as you.

Arts and Crafts
Develop social and fine motor skills having fun with arts and crafts.

Park Fun Day
Learn to integrate motor skill development, social communication, language development and self regulation into park play in fun and creative ways.
Age: Pre-schoolers & Primary School

Cooking School
Learn to plan, prepare and cook simple meals, while improving fine motor skills, learning to try new foods and making friends along the way.

Movement and Fitness
Develop gross motor skills and balance while enjoying and learning about different sports and activities including basketball, tennis, dancing, yoga, soccer and many more.

Dance
A fun and motivational way to improve flexibility, social skills and working on sensory regulation through dance and music.

Winning and Losing Socially
Learn how to interact with others in a healthy way when engaging in activities like playing board games. Practice turn taking, learning how to win and lose gracefully, working as a team, following instructions and behaving appropriately in a group.

Fit & Fun
A gym group to help build your child’s skills to get involved in sport and other physical activities – it’s all about having a go! This group is fantastic for developing confidence and social skills and will help make fitness fun.

Express It
Explore why emotions are important and what to do with them. Children will be encouraged to express themselves creatively through different mediums including art and movement in a safe and supportive group environment.

Drama to Connect
Through role play and puppets, kids have fun learning about self-expression, imagination, play and understanding emotions. Held over two sessions, this group helps develop social and conversational skills.

Novita Fitness
To improve young person’s participation in physical activity and develop confidence using gym equipment independently.
Age: High School

Learn to Play
Play is how kids learn. In this group, the parent and child will be guided through imaginative play skill development to promote social interaction and communication skills.
Age: Pre-schoolers

Sound is Write
Develop handwriting and literacy skills, including letter formation, letter recognition and phonological skills (e.g. identifying sounds in words).

Wheelie Fun
Learn the skills needed to move safely and efficiently in your wheelchair and tips on how to look after your chair. Activities are tailored for your age and skill level.

Chat Group
You and your child will practice and get confident in using your Augmentative and Alternative Communication (such as a PODD) in a friendly and supportive environment with the assistance of a speech pathologist.
Age: All ages using AAC
