About The Program
Based on the latest international research on neuroplasticity, our Intensive School Holiday Therapy Program has been designed to fast-track learning and skill development and is tailored to support your child to achieve their therapy goals. These goals could be related to daily activities – such as getting dressed for school or eating independently – that require the skills and coordination of the arms, hands and legs, as well as stability and balance in their body. Other goals could be things like learning to ride a bike, walking without assistance, or dancing – all of which can be developed through improving strength, balance, endurance, and coordination.
The Intensive School Holiday Therapy Program typically includes 30 hours of one-on-one therapy in a fun group environment over five days. Our team of expert Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists are here to support your child to achieve their full potential.
The Intensive School Holiday Therapy Program is specifically for pre-school and school aged kids who experience challenges with the way they walk, move or play. Using playful and engaging methods that motivate kids, the program has been proven to be effective in accelerating therapy results.

Globally Recognised Therapy
The Intensive School Holiday Therapy Program and its positive results are informed through the ‘HABIT-ILE’ program (hand-arm bimanual intensive therapy including lower extremities) which is based on the principles of neuroplasticity – this is a specialised therapeutic program developed in Belgium for kids living with cerebral palsy.
HABIT-ILE is clinically proven to provide significant and long-lasting physical improvements through a motor learning approach, including the whole body, in fun and engaging activities.
A range of activities are included in a motivating, fun and social environment such as:
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- scooter and bike riding
- everyday living skills (using a knife and fork, getting dressed, etc.)

What Can Your Child Achieve?
Past Intensive School Holiday Therapy Programs have seen clients achieve incredible things! Those achievements have included gaining more independence at mealtimes (using a knife and fork on their own), washing their hair independently, getting dressed while standing and improving walking endurance. Parents have commented that their kids are continuing to build skills post-intensive program and are now more motivated to be independent in other areas.
