Welcome to Novita Port Pirie! Our hub at 10 Goode Road is Novita’s home in the Mid-North for service and support for people living with disability across the region. We are dedicated to supporting our regional clients to work towards their goals, while overcoming the challenges that come with living with a disability in a regional area.
Our goal is to provide the services that you need to achieve your goals, local to where you need them most. We deliver high-quality individualised support and community programs in the heart of Port Pirie, as well as supporting you to access the services that you need. We’re here to make sure that you receive the support that you need, close to home.

Community Programs
Our Port Pirie Day Options program is a welcoming and inclusive program run by our experienced disability support workers. The program provides high quality support for participants in the local community. As part of our individualised approach, participants are matched to the support worker who is best positioned support them to achieve their goals.
Clients engage with the local Port Pirie community in a safe and considered way, while working towards their individual goals and learning alongside their peers. Activities may include excursions to the Port Pirie Aquatic and Leisure Centre or to the Little Beans Play Café, trips to the cinema, arts and crafts, and much more.
Individualised Support
Novita’s Individualised Support service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support our clients in Port Pirie with everyday tasks such as personal care, transport, domestic tasks, and much more. Our support workers are extensively trained and can be flexible in how we deliver support. We can support you at our Hub, at 10 Goode Road, in the community, or in respite, in your home or any location where you need us.

Supported Independent Living
Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service provides 24/7 care and support to to people living with disability over the age of 18 who want to live independently in either their own home or shared accommodation. We develop a trusted team to support you to live independently on a daily basis, – whether it’s assisting with daily tasks, cooking meals, managing personal hygiene needs or more – whatever you need.
Novita SIL staff are professionally trained, available around the clock, and ready to support you to develop your independent living skills, and achieve your goals.
Short Term Respite
Respite care is a short-term ‘home away from home,’ with 24/7 wrap-around-support from our Community Living team. We offer respite in accommodation of your choice, including at the Port Pirie Beach Caravan Park. In respite our clients can try new things and build their independence, while offering family members and carers the opportunity to have a well-deserved break. It can also be a great first step to gain more independence as you consider your future living arrangements.
Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology (AT) and equipment can support you to achieve your goals at home, at school, in the workplace and in the community. Novita Port Pirie has access to a full range of Assistive Technology options and products through NovitaTech, our cutting-edge AT service.
We can provide assessments and prescriptions via appointment for AT, either in person with the Adelaide-based team, or over telehealth. We can also provide AT solutions through our online retail store, which ships products Australia-wide. NovitaTech may also be able to assist with funding applications for AT within NDIS budgets.

Facilities
Our Port Pirie hub offers a comfortable and homely environment, with multiple spacious activity and therapy rooms providing a safe space for our clients to work towards their goals. The hub also features a fully equipped kitchen area, laundry areas with washing machine, dryer, and shower facilities, and a large, open backyard and activities area. At Novita Port Pirie, our clients have the space and freedom to pursue their goals, all in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Service Location
Novita is located at 10 Goode Road, Port Pirie, near the Port Pirie West Primary School. This location is just a short drive from the heart of Port Pirie, close to the Memorial Park, Northern Festival Centre, and the Port Pirie town centre.
Clients travel from across the Mid-North, from as far away as Port Augusta, and we are happy to work with you on the best solution for your needs.
