Participants in our Transition to Work (TTW) program are able to utilise their School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) funding, Finding and Keeping a Job (Employment Assistance) funding or core funding.
Please note that the NDIS is phasing out SLES funding and any new NDIS plans for clients will have Finding and Keeping a Job (Employment Assistance) funding. If you still have SLES funding you are able to use that to enrol in our TTW program for three days a week.
Under Finding and Keeping a Job (Employment Assistance) funding, we are able to offer more flexibility and you can choose the number of days and hours that suits you. We offer three pricing levels to support your needs:
- Level 1 – $87.53 per hour (for people who mainly need one-to-one support)
- Level 2 – $45.37 per hour (for people who mainly have shared support with one other person)
- Level 3 – $34.03 per hour (for people who mainly have shared support within a group)
The time that we charge for is always related to supporting our clients to achieve their goals and sometimes this also includes non-face-to-face (NFFT) time. Each of the three price levels of support includes a component of non-face-to-face time that is charged automatically.
Transport
When our support workers transport you to and from Transition to Work and other community programs community activities the following charges will apply, in addition to your support worker’s time, at a maximum of:
- $1.10 per kilometre for a vehicle that is not modified for accessibility;
- $1.10 per kilometre for a vehicle that is modified for accessibility and shared with other participants;
- $3.15 per kilometre for a vehicle that is modified for accessibility; and
other associated costs such as parking or public transport fares.
Activity based transport
Transport is an important part of our community programs, ensuring that our clients can work towards their goals in the community. The cost of transport includes both staff and non-staff costs, for example the cost of vehicles.
To ensure a consistent approach to non-staff costs, we charge a flat rate of $6.60 per day for community programs attended that have Novita vehicles. You will see this on your invoice as “activity based transport.”
