Novita is committed to providing safe and high-quality services and supports that provide the best outcomes for our customers.
Behaviour support is among the services we offer to improve the quality of life for Novita families. We understand that there are many reasons for challenging behaviour, and we take a positive approach to teach new behaviours and skills.
Novita’s team of professional therapists have significant experience at working with kids and families to respond to challenging behaviours, and our team is approved by the new NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to deliver behaviour support.
The Commission’s quality and safeguard system sets out new requirements for behaviour support.
The independent NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission has been established to ensure the National Disability Insurance Scheme delivers the highest quality services and supports for Australians living with a disability.
The Commission will improve the quality and safety of services and supports under the NDIS by regulating the NDIS market, providing national consistency, resolving problems, and identifying areas of improvement.
Novita is a registered service provider through the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
A handy guide is available to give you more information about what the new Commission means for you, including a complaint process if you feel unsafe or unhappy about the services and supports you are receiving.
Novita’s Customer Service Charter sets out how you can provide feedback to us. Under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, you also have the option of contacting the Commission directly to lodge a complaint.
