Trekking the Great Wall of China

Between 30 September – 8 October 2017, eight Novita Trekkers have experienced the trip of a lifetime, exploring Beijing and the Great Wall of China – including some of the most remote and unrestored sections – for the Novita Trek for Kids Great Wall Challenge.

Among them, is Paralympian and former Novita teen, Brayden Davison OAM.

The Trek, hosted by Inspired Adventures, is a Novita fundraising initiative. The Trekkers are raising funds and awareness to help kids, teens and young people living with disability to get more physically active.

All money raised through the Trek will go towards purchasing new equipment for Novita’s fitness gym.
Kids, teens and young adults will be able to use the equipment for fun, to get more physically active and to achieve their therapy goals – such as learning to walk.

They will also be able to use it for rehabilitation following orthopaedic or neurological surgery if they live with an acquired brain injury, or if they live with any other disability that can benefit from physical therapy.

We know the right equipment, coupled with the right supports and therapy, can be life-changing for young people living with disability – but it’s extremely costly. That’s why we need your support.

If you want to make a difference, and help young people living with disability reach their full potential, you can still make a donation to our Trekkers.
