The generosity of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association of Australia has again provided support to Novita’s kids through donating the funds raised at a lunch in December 2016 and matched dollar-for-dollar by the national Association to bring the total donation to $1500.00.

Novita was honoured to host Mr Muhammad Shafiq (Nazim Ala Region South Australia), Mr Rasheed Khalid (Vice President South Australia) and Mr Farooque Chandio (Community Engagement Coordinator) for a cheque presentation, followed by a tour of our Regency Park facility.

In addition, Novita’s staff were invited to share in the Association’s Australia Day celebrations at the Beverley Mosque. A flag-hoisting ceremony accompanied by wonderful singing of the National Anthem by children, readings and a range of heartfelt speeches from both kids and Community Leaders on the topic of the meaning of being Australian was followed by a delicious lunch among good company. The afternoon ended with a tour of the Mosque and the great facilities for all ages to share and enjoy.
