School Holiday groups are run by our qualified therapists and allow your kids to continue their therapy whilst enjoying new experiences, with new friends in a fun and supportive environment. Holiday therapy groups are run from Monday 28 September – Friday 9 October 2020 and can be funded through your NDIS package, under support category: Improved Daily Living Skills.
Social interaction, relationship building and learning to solve problems are important benefits of Novita’s groups. In the current environment of COVID-19, we have redesigned the way in which some groups are delivered including via Telehealth and with limited participant numbers.
Holiday groups give kids and young people an opportunity to interact with each other while they’re learning. This can often give them more motivation to learn. Participating in structured group sessions can also significantly reduce the stress of moving from a well-known environment, such as primary school to high school.Find Group
Please note - in the current environment of COVID-19, Novita has redesigned the way in which many of your therapy services are delivered. Currenty, many of services are being delivered one-on-one (at home or in our hubs) or via telehealth.
In this way we are still able to offer you most of our great services while also ensuring your safety and comfort. Speak to your therapist, call us at 1300 668 482 or visit our contact page to learn about how we can support you in these unprecedented times.Contact Us
We know that children learn and engage best through play and our groups support the development of new skills in a way that is meaningful for children. We also know that YOU are a key member of your child’s therapy team, which is why we offer groups and training for parents and carers that provide you with the skills to support your children…everywhere!
We also have a wide range of groups catering for older children and young people, ranging from specific skill development to keeping fit and opportunities to socialise with their peers.
